Second leg of our journey
We decided to arrive early to drop off the bike and bags, and enjoy some time in the air-conditioned comfort of the terminal. Check-in was a breeze, and before we knew it, we were on our way to Sydney.
Navigating the bustling Sydney Airport was its own adventure, but soon enough, we arrived at the Rydges Airport Hotel. We entered our room just in time to witness a spectacular lightning storm unfolding outside. Caught between the urge to grab my camera and capture the scene, and the need for food and a shower, the decision was made for me when the storm quickly intensified.
